Hello and welcome to Active Tails, a dog walking and pet sitting service based in Alsager, Cheshire.

 

Our aim is to work with you to keep your pets active, healthy and happy.

 

I have been lucky to be surrounded by animals for most of my life, with a beautiful black collie called Lady being my first ever pet and best friend. As a pet parent for over 25 years, I have surrounded our family with dogs, cats, gerbils, rabbits, fish and even snails! A home just isn’t a home without our pets!

 

Currently we have a 3 year old border collie called Loki, a rescue from Animal Lifeline. And just as the name name suggests he is full of mischief!

I have had lots of experience taking care of friends and neighbour’s pets too while they are away and am always relied upon to look after their pets like my own. This led me to take a leap in 2023 and decide to combine my love of all animals, with my love of the outdoors and set up a new dog walking and pet services business.

I am able to offer a flexible service, such as home visits for your pets while you are at work or away for the day, one off or regular walks and an overnight sitting service to look after your dogs in their own home.

​

For active and high energy dogs who seek even more fun and adventure, I offer 'Dog Adventure' days, where I take dogs beyond their hometown to explore dog friendly beaches, longer trails, hills and even mountains!
