  • Provide you with a quote for our services if this has been requested by you via telephone, email, social media or website; 

  • To set you up as a new customer and provide you with our services in line with the service agreement. 

 

We do not receive personal information indirectly from any other sources. 

 

Under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), the lawful bases we rely on for processing this information are: 

  • Consent  

       You can remove your consent at any time by contacting activetails.org@gmail.com

  • Contract 

       We (Active Tails and you) have agreed to enter into a contract as detailed in the service agreement. 

 

Will your personal information be shared? 

We will not share your information without consent unless we are required by law or it is necessary to protect our company’s rights and/or to comply with a judicial proceeding, court order or legal process.  

 

How we store your personal information

Your information is securely stored. 

 

We keep your personal information for as long as we need to fulfil our contractual obligations as detailed in the service agreement form. We do not keep your personal information for longer than we need to. When our service agreement ends, your personal information will be deleted.

Under data protection law, you have rights including: 

  • Your right of access - You have the right to ask us for copies of your personal information.  

  • Your right to rectification - You have the right to ask us to rectify personal information you think is inaccurate. You also have the right to ask us to complete information you think is incomplete.  

  • Your right to erasure - You have the right to ask us to erase your personal information in certain circumstances.  

  • Your right to restriction of processing - You have the right to ask us to restrict the processing of your personal information in certain circumstances.  

  • Your right to object to processing - You have the the right to object to the processing of your personal information in certain circumstances. 

  • Your right to data portability - You have the right to ask that we transfer the personal information you gave us to another organisation, or to you, in certain circumstances. 

 

You are not required to pay any charge for exercising your rights. If you make a request, we have one calendar month to provide you with an appropriate response. Please contact activetails.org@gmail.com if you wish to make a request.

Active Tails reserves the right to amend this privacy statement at any time. The applicable version will also be found on our website. Please review this regularly to ensure you are happy with any changes. If we make any significant changes to the privacy notice, we will notify you by email/post and place a notice on our website prior to the change taking effect.
